Racing at Pitchcroft on 7, 12 and 21 October, fireworks at Norton on the 24th and Sixways on 7 November (£12), half term trails and the Cathedral diary.
Worcester Racecourse has three afternoons of jump racing left before its season ends, on Wednesday 7, Monday 12 and Wednesday 21 October. Then come the firework nights: Norton on Saturday 24 October, Webbs at Wychbold on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November, and Sixways on Saturday 7 November, where the early bird offer has now closed and adults pay £12. In between, the Cathedral has a concert most weekends, the Commandery runs torchlit tours, and half term brings trails to both city museums and a wizarding event at Spetchley.
Everything below was read from the organisers’ own pages on 3 October 2026 and checked again on 6 October. Each entry links to its source, so check it before you set off. For places that are open whatever the month, see our guide to things to do in Worcester. The Art Gallery’s Monet loan show has its own page.
