Claire Field, founder of the Bromsgrove-based Parenting Apart Programme, won the Resolution Innovation Award 2026 at Church House, Westminster, on 24 September.
A family-support programme built in Worcestershire has picked up a national prize. Claire Field, the author and founder of The Parenting Apart Programme, which is based in Bromsgrove, has won the Resolution Innovation Award 2026.
She received it at the Resolution Awards at Church House, Westminster, on Thursday 24 September. The programme says the award recognises her work “supporting separated parents to reduce conflict and improve outcomes for their children”.
What the programme does
In the programme’s own words, The Parenting Apart Programme “was developed here in Worcestershire and supports parents experiencing difficulties following separation, particularly where communication has broken down or parental conflict is affecting the family.”
It is not only a local service. The programme says that “although rooted in Worcestershire, the programme also works with families and professionals across the country”.
Why she wants people talking about it
The announcement makes clear the award is meant to start conversations, not end them. Claire, it says, “is keen to use this national recognition to open further conversations about the support available to separated parents and their children, both locally and nationally.”
The programme’s office manager, Annabel O’Donovan, said Claire would be happy to talk about “the award, the development of The Parenting Apart Programme and why she believes more support is needed for families navigating parental separation.” We will return to those questions with her.
