Worcester Six, Wychavon Town and Evesham Riverside are briefed to suppliers on 11 November at The Wood Norton. Free for Wychavon firms, £15 + VAT for others.
Businesses hoping to win work from Worcester Six Business Park, the planned Wychavon Town and the redevelopment of Evesham’s Riverside Shopping Centre can hear from the people running those projects at a morning briefing on Wednesday 11 November.
Building a Sustainable Future: Wychavon Growth & Regeneration runs from 9am to midday at The Wood Norton, the grade II listed country house hotel on Worcester Road, Evesham. It is organised by FinditinWorcestershire, the Kidderminster-based network that connects local suppliers with buyers and contractors, with the Worcestershire Growth Hub, Wychavon District Council and The Wood Norton as sponsors.
The event is free to businesses based in Wychavon district and to FinditinWorcestershire Premium members. Everyone else, which includes firms in Worcester city itself, can book at £15 plus VAT a delegate, according to the event page (checked 29 October 2026).
Who is speaking
The organisers list six speakers:
- Cllr Richard Morris, leader of Wychavon District Council
- Rebecca Buckley and Guy Kippen of Wychavon District Council, who work on its strategic sites
- Judy Gibbs, head of skills at Worcestershire County Council
- Edward Peel, director at Stoford Developments, the developer of Worcester Six
- Andy McNair, health, safety, quality and environment director at Benniman Construction Group
Contractors from several of the region’s infrastructure projects will also attend. FinditinWorcestershire says it will name them on its website next week.

What the council leader says
Cllr Morris will open the morning with the council’s plans for new communities, employment space, infrastructure and town-centre regeneration across the district.
“Wychavon is entering an exciting period of growth and investment, with major developments that will create new homes, jobs, skills and opportunities for businesses across the district,” he said.
“Our ambition is to make sure that growth delivers lasting benefits for our communities. That means creating well-connected, sustainable places, supporting people into new employment and skills opportunities, and ensuring local businesses have every opportunity to be part of the investment taking place here.
“This event is an important opportunity to bring businesses, developers and partners together, share the scale of what is coming and start building the relationships that will help us maximise the economic benefit for Wychavon.”
Worcester Six: 1.2 million sq ft so far
Edward Peel will give the developer’s view of Worcester Six, from planning and infrastructure through to construction and occupation, and what that means for local supply chains.
The event page says the park has more than 1.2 million sq ft of commercial space delivered or committed and has attracted around £300 million of private-sector investment. Mr Peel is due to talk about the planned southern extension and North Point, which the organisers describe as a proposed development of smaller industrial units aimed at SMEs and manufacturers.
“I’m looking forward to sharing Stoford’s experience of delivering best-in-class assets at Worcester Six and across the wider UK industrial, logistics and office development sector,” he said. “Sustainability is integral to our approach, with evolving requirements shaping how our developments are delivered.”

Wychavon Town and Evesham Riverside
Rebecca Buckley and Guy Kippen will take delegates through the council’s development pipeline, including Wychavon Town and the Riverside project, with planning and delivery timescales and the procurement routes the council will use.
The event page describes Wychavon Town as new homes, employment space, infrastructure and green space around Worcestershire Parkway station. It also says a demolition contractor for Evesham’s Riverside Shopping Centre was appointed this month, and that a redevelopment partner is expected to be appointed in spring or summer 2027.
Sustainability will be the thread
The organisers say the morning will look at how low-carbon construction, biodiversity, green infrastructure, environmental performance and social value requirements are shaping big developments, and what that means for the firms that supply them. There will also be sessions on skills and recruitment, and on getting ready to tender.

Darren Schrouder, manager of the Worcestershire Growth Hub, said: “The scale of development taking place across Wychavon represents a real opportunity for local businesses.
“Our priority is to help SMEs prepare through access to business support initiatives, skills support, procurement opportunities, and funding to facilitate growth.
“By connecting businesses with the right support now, we can help ensure that as these projects progress, more of the economic benefit stays within Worcestershire.”
Paul Long, director of FinditinWorcestershire, said the timing is the point: “There is a huge difference between finding out about an opportunity when the tender lands and understanding the pipeline early enough to prepare for it.
“This event is about giving Worcestershire businesses that early visibility, helping them understand where investment is heading, and what they can do now to put themselves in the strongest possible position.”
Who it is for
The organisers are aiming it at construction, manufacturing and the wider built-environment supply chain, and at firms in landscaping, ecology, biodiversity, drainage and water management, energy, transport and training.
